Implementing the project to renovate and upgrade technical infrastructure of the new resettlement area of ​​Thuc Phan ward - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

Thuc Phan Ward is implementing the Project to renovate and upgrade the technical infrastructure system of the resettlement area of ​​the new urban area with a total investment of 60 billion VND from the local budget, expected to be completed in early 2026. The project aims to overcome the serious degradation of the traffic system, drainage, lighting and landscape in the resettlement area, gradually improving the urban appearance and improving the quality of life of the people.

Location: Resettlement area of ​​new urban area, De Tham ward, Thuc Phan ward.

The resettlement area of ​​the new urban area of ​​De Tham ward has an area of ​​about 20 hectares and was invested in construction since 2008 to serve the needs of resettlement and urban land development. However, after more than 15 years of use, the technical infrastructure system has seriously degraded: the road surface is peeling, sagging, and has many potholes; the sidewalks are cracked and lack trees; the lighting and drainage systems no longer meet the needs, causing traffic insecurity and affecting the urban beauty.

In order to renovate the traffic system, synchronize technical infrastructure with the provincial and urban administrative center; build and upgrade sports grounds, improve the quality of life and urban development, on September 12, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee approved the Project to renovate and upgrade the infrastructure and technical system of the resettlement area of ​​the new urban area of ​​Thuc Phan ward with a total investment of 60 billion VND from the local budget.

The project scale includes: renovating and upgrading 17 roads with a total length of 3.8 km; building a sports field combined with a community space; completing the green tree system, lighting, drainage and auxiliary items. The project is expected to be constructed from the end of November 2025 to the beginning of 2026.

To implement the project, Thuc Phan ward issued a decision approving the construction design, organized a meeting with the people of De Tham 2 residential group, clearly informing about the impacts that may arise such as traffic restrictions, construction on many fronts, and working in shifts. The ward government requested people to cooperate in removing items encroaching on the sidewalk, creating conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule; established a community monitoring team to promptly record and resolve opinions arising during the implementation process. People expressed high consensus, and at the same time requested the construction unit to ensure labor safety, limit dust and noise, and ensure the quality of investment in construction of items according to plan.
