Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed that localities implement a domestic tourism stimulus program with the theme "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam - Vietnam I love" to welcome the April 30 - May 1 holiday and the 2024 summer tourist season.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to direct authorities at all levels and specialized agencies to promptly implement: Preside over and coordinate with agencies, organizations, businesses and communities to launch the program "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam - Vietnam I love" in the area with specific contents, new tourism programs, product packages with good service quality to increase the experience of tourists, diversify products and improve service quality.
In addition, the Department of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of localities organize programs to introduce destinations and link tourism development; ensuring a safe, friendly and quality tourism environment.
Widely disseminate information about the operating hours of tourist areas, attractions, tourism products and services in the area to attract tourists during the April 30 - May 1 holiday and the 2024 summer tourist season; at the same time, develop and complete regulations and guidelines to ensure security, safety, a clean and civilized environment for tourism activities, tourists, workers and local communities.
Mobilize and encourage tourism-related businesses in the area to participate; guide, monitor and urge businesses to seriously implement service quality assurance when participating in stimulus programs; competent authorities also need to regularly inspect and control the quality of tourism services in general and of stimulus programs; compile statistics and report the results of stimulus program implementation to the People's Committees of provinces and cities and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (through the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) before January 15, 2025 to evaluate and draw lessons for subsequent activities and programs.
