According to the plan, health examinations for young people will be focused on implementation in December 2025. This year, Quang Ngai province established 5 examination councils in 5 defense areas, with 19 examination teams.

The medical examination teams must conduct drug and hepatitis B tests. At-risk groups will be tested for HIV and other infectious diseases according to the instructions of the health sector. The health records of young people are updated and encoded on a centralized management system, ensuring transparency and minimizing errors in storage. At the same time, it helps the military service councils at all levels strictly implement the steps in the selection process to call citizens to join the army.

In 2026, Quang Ngai was assigned the target of recruiting 3,935 young men to join the army. Of these, 3,400 targets were for the army and 535 targets were for the People's Public Security.
