Accordingly, 100% of children entering preschools and primary schools will have their vaccination history checked, of which at least 90% of children who have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses of measles, measles-rubella, polio and Japanese encephalitis vaccines will be fully vaccinated.

Educational facilities coordinate with commune and ward health stations in providing lists of children, supporting the checking of vaccination records, and promoting and mobilizing parents to take their children for vaccination.
The health sector is responsible for professional implementation and ensuring safe vaccination in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health .
Catch-up vaccinations are carried out across the province after completing a review of vaccination history. From 2026, checks will be conducted annually when children apply for school admission.

Cases that have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses will be given catch-up vaccinations in the expanded immunization program, including: measles, measles-rubella, polio (bOPV, IPV) and Japanese encephalitis.
Vaccination activities can be organized at health stations, vaccination points outside stations or at schools.
The Department of Health requires medical units to strictly implement safe vaccination procedures, fully prepare human resources, equipment and medical supplies; at the same time, coordinate with the education sector to propagate so that parents clearly understand the benefits of full vaccination and take their children to get vaccinated on schedule.
The implementation of medical history checks and catch-up vaccinations contributes to maintaining the achievements of the Expanded Immunization Program, minimizing the risk of disease outbreaks, protecting children's and community health, and aiming for comprehensive vaccine coverage in the province.
