Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue to focus on strictly implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring electricity supply, coal and gas supply for electricity production in the coming time and implementing Decision No. 215 dated March 1, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving the Vietnam National Energy Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Departments, branches and localities, according to their assigned functions and tasks, shall organize the implementation of Decision No. 262 dated April 1, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving the Plan for implementing the National Power Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; or advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to direct and organize the implementation in accordance with regulations. At the same time, closely coordinate and support investors of power projects in the province in implementing investment in the construction of power works and power projects, promptly handle documents and procedures related to forests and rice fields according to their authority, especially key and urgent projects, transmission projects serving the import of electricity from Laos.
The Provincial People's Committee requests to strengthen propaganda work, synchronously and drastically implement programs and plans on energy saving and efficiency in the province. In particular, promptly resolve any problems or issues that arise or report to competent authorities, through the Department of Industry and Trade for timely resolution (if any).
Investors of power source and grid projects in the province are responsible for concentrating all resources, accelerating the investment and construction progress of projects and works invested by the unit; selecting and applying optimal solutions, applying automatic technology, and saving energy for machinery, production lines and equipment; closely coordinating with relevant departments, branches and localities to promptly resolve difficulties and problems.
Power Transmission Company 2 and Quang Nam Power Company are directed to organize the management and operation of the power system in the province to ensure safe and stable power supply; promptly fix and handle incidents (if any).
