Resolutely deploy key solutions to promote growth

The province's socio-economic situation in the first 4 months of the year continued to develop stably. Most industries and sectors grew compared to the same period last year. Agricultural, forestry and fishery production continued to develop stably. The industrial production index increased by 14.23% over the same period in 2024.

Total retail sales of goods and service revenue in April 2025 reached VND 9,921 billion (up 2.3% over the previous month); accumulated revenue in the first 4 months of the year reached more than VND 39,003 billion (up 11.7% over the same period last year), equal to 32.5% of the yearly plan.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

The province's total export turnover in April 2025 was 170 million USD (down 31% compared to the previous month); cumulative exports reached 745 million USD (up 6.6% compared to the same period in 2024), equal to 40.1% of the plan.

Total tourism revenue of the whole province in April 2025 reached 123 billion VND (up 65.21% over the same period in 2024); accumulated in the first 4 months of 2025, total tourism revenue of the whole province was 722 billion VND, equal to 45.13% of the plan.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha spoke at the meeting.

Total state budget revenue in the province in April 2025 was 831 billion VND; accumulated revenue in 4 months was 4,099 billion VND (up 41.57% over the same period last year), equal to 42.9% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and 52.2% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government.

Social security, care for people with meritorious services, poverty reduction, and the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses continue to receive attention and be implemented promptly. Research, transfer and application activities of science and technology tasks are actively implemented, especially breakthrough tasks in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in the province. Land, resource and environmental management and administrative reform are focused on. National defense is strengthened; sovereignty, territory and border security are maintained.

Concluding the meeting, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van requested departments and branches to promptly complete and appraise the contents to submit to the upcoming People's Council meeting, and at the same time review land plots that are eligible to attract investment in the coming time.

In addition, it is necessary to speed up the preparation of documents for the arrangement of administrative units. In particular, during the implementation of the arrangement of the apparatus, it is necessary not to affect the operations of units and enterprises.

Agencies and units need to provide advice and guidance in implementing provincial planning; drastically deploy key solutions to promote growth; and focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles of projects.

In addition, it is necessary to focus on measures to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
