The conference heard an important directive speech from General Secretary To Lam on the contents, tasks, action orientations, and requirements for organizing and implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, transforming the Resolution into action, action into results, and results into concrete changes in people's lives.
Responding to the directives of General Secretary To Lam, Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, emphasized that immediately after the Conference, Party committees and organizations at all levels must continue to thoroughly understand, disseminate, and publicize the Resolution; strengthen leadership and guidance; and promptly organize the implementation of the Resolution in a proactive manner, maximizing the spirit of strategic self-reliance, self-strength, and self-confidence to advance strongly in the new era of the nation, creating a strong shift from "studying and thoroughly understanding" to "deeply understanding - acting correctly - doing to the end"; harmoniously combining traditional methods with the effective application of science, technology, and digital transformation; and at the same time, focusing on inspection and supervision to ensure the substantive effectiveness in research, study, understanding, and dissemination, and in each step of implementation, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.
The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, connecting the central hub with 31,097 other hubs including provincial and city Party committees, Party committees directly under the Central Committee; hubs of ministries, departments, and agencies directly under the Central Committee; and hubs at the grassroots level nationwide, with over 1,930,000 delegates participating. The conference was broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Vietnam Radio, and digital platforms; and rebroadcast on local newspapers and radio stations throughout the country.
At the conference, delegates heard presentations on 10 topics, focusing on clarifying the basic, core content and new points in the documents of the 14th Party Congress, while also deepening the content in each field:
Topic 1, "Some new, core issues and experiences of 40 years of reform in the Party's 14th Congress documents," was presented by Comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Topic 2, "Action Program for Implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party," was delivered by Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister.
Topic 3, “Report summarizing Party building work during the 13th Party Congress term and summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011 - 2025); directions, tasks, and solutions for Party building work and implementation of the Party Charter during the 14th Party Congress term,” was presented by Comrade Le Minh Hung, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department.
Topic 4, "Assessment of the 5-year implementation of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030 and the socio-economic development plan 2026-2030," was presented by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
Topic 5, "Promoting the strength of national unity in the cause of national construction, development, and defense in the new era," was delivered by Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Topic 6, "New thinking and awareness on national defense and protection of the Fatherland of the 14th National Congress," was delivered by Comrade Phan Văn Giang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of National Defense.
Topic 7, "New Thinking and Perceptions on National Security of the 14th National Congress," was presented by Comrade Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security.
Topic 8, "Developing foreign relations in the new era commensurate with the historical, cultural stature and position of the country," was presented by Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Topic 9, "Outline for summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930 - 2030), orientation and leadership for national development in the next 100 years (2030 - 2130), and a summary of 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism," was presented by Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Political Bureau and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
Topic 10, "Innovating inspection and supervision work to contribute to strengthening discipline and order to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation in the spirit of Resolution of the 14th National Congress," was delivered by Comrade Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee.
