
The exhibition introduces images taken from a number of documentaries, feature films, reports... with characters, stories, and settings filmed in Ho Chi Minh City and some beautiful landscapes, heritages, landmarks, and cultural identities of the city.
The exhibition also shows viewers the beauty of nature and people, which are colorful pieces, giving viewers emotional views of Ho Chi Minh City, a city that always looks towards the future while still preserving its own unique values, thereby contributing to spreading and promoting the culture, landscapes, and tourism development potential of Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition is scheduled to take place from November 21 to 25. The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition is scheduled to take place at 9:00 a.m. on November 21, at Lam Son Park, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
200 images displayed at the Exhibition are printed from documents and film works archived at the Vietnam Film Institute; documents and film works collected from the Department of Culture and Sports , Department of Tourism, Television Station, Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association about filming locations, people, life, the process of innovation, integration and development of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City.
Some of the films that were featured in the exhibition include the documentaries The Battle of Moc Hoa, The Tra Vinh Campaign, Saigon Joyful Victory, The Faces of May, Independence Day September 2, 1975 in Ho Chi Minh City ..., the feature films First Love, Rising Wind, Monsoon Season, Wild Fields, The Upside-Down Card Game, Saigon Commandos, Saigon Liberation, Tunnels: The Sun in the Dark, Saigon I Love You, There's a House to Listen to the Sun and Rain, Sunshine, You and Trinh, Hai Muoi, Mai...
The exhibition includes 3 contents: The period of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (1945-1975); The period of national construction and development (1976-1985) and The period of innovation, integration and development (1986-2025).
In addition to the photo exhibition, viewers also have the opportunity to experience MR virtual reality, along with a 3600 photobooth area, and record short videos from 20 to 30 seconds to help visitors experience the content of the Vietnam Film Festival Exhibition.
At the Exhibition, there will also be a booth giving out free movie tickets and a catalogue of the screening schedule of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival from November 21-25.
