The beginning of the year is always an ideal time to reflect on the journey so far and plan for the future. For businesswoman Ngo Thi Kim Chi, the startup story is not just an economic challenge but also a journey of honing the leadership skills of a true leader.

Entrepreneur Ngo Thi Kim Chi: When recalling the early days of starting a business, many people often think the biggest difficulty is capital or market, but for me, the toughest challenge was building trust. That's trust in myself when venturing into a completely new field, and more importantly, building trust with partners and customers when the brand was still unknown.

There were periods when I had to take on every role myself, from macro-level strategic planning to meticulously caring for each customer. The pressure was immense, but those challenging times forged my perseverance and steely resolve – two crucial qualities that I believe any entrepreneur wanting to go the distance must possess.

PV: As we enter the new year with many new opportunities, what goals have you outlined for your business?

Entrepreneur Ngo Thi Kim Chi: In the coming year, our guiding principle will remain sustainable development. I aim to expand the market to bring the QUEEN Coffee brand closer to consumers, and at the same time, launch new product lines to meet the increasingly sophisticated tastes of customers. In addition, standardizing operational processes and improving service quality will be maximized.

In particular, I believe that people are the most valuable asset, so investing in human resource training will be a priority. Alongside business activities, I also direct the company towards community activities, spreading positive values and making practical contributions to society, because business is not just about profit, but also about responsibility.

PV: In the face of the country's rapid development, what qualities, in your opinion, should a modern woman possess to achieve success?

Businesswoman Ngo Thi Kim Chi: Women in the modern era need to possess three qualities: knowledge, courage, and independence. We need to constantly improve ourselves, learn to master technology, and be ready for international integration. However, a woman's success is not only measured by her career but also by her ability to balance and maintain harmony in the family. I always believe that when women confidently assert their self-worth, we are not only creating success for ourselves but also making a significant contribution to the overall prosperity of the country.

Businesswoman Ngo Thi Kim Chi: For me, Tet (Lunar New Year) is always a haven of reunion and gratitude. It's a precious moment to reflect on a year of collective effort, an opportunity to express deep appreciation to family, partners, and customers who have always been supportive. Tet is also a milestone for me to remind myself to recharge with positive energy, ready for a new journey with greater responsibility and bigger aspirations.

My family has always upheld the old tradition of "Visiting the father on the first day of Tet, and the teacher on the third day." Although my mother is no longer with us, the memories of her and those Tet reunions remain the most cherished images in my heart, never to fade.

Life is like how we carefully select each pure coffee bean; I hope everyone will find the purest and most authentic values for themselves.
