On December 1, health stations in the province simultaneously organized the second Vitamin A supplementation campaign in 2025 for children from 6 months to under 5 years old.

The Provincial Center for Disease Control oversees the vitamin A supplementation program.

To effectively implement the campaign, the health stations have carefully prepared the conditions: Making a list of children who need to take Vitamin A; fully preparing Vitamin A capsules, scales, rulers, slogans, statistical forms, and reports. Medical staff and collaborators at Vitamin A drinking points have proactively welcomed, screened, and classified subjects; given children the correct dose of Vitamin A; monitored children after drinking to ensure safety...

According to the plan, in the second phase, the Provincial Center for Disease Control has allocated nearly 190 thousand Vitamin A tablets to localities for children to drink. Children aged 6-35 months, children under 5 years old with diseases at risk of Vitamin A deficiency are given Vitamin A at all health stations in the province. The campaign is organized for 2 days, December 1-2.
