At the scene, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phuong Chinh, Deputy Political Commissar of Regiment 351, said: Officers and soldiers of Regiment 351 sprayed the school yard, cleaned desks, chairs, and classrooms.

Ms. Ha Thi My Dung, Principal of Nguyen Van Cu Primary School, shared: During the recent stormy days, the school was flooded very deeply, some places were 3 meters deep. Many equipments, especially electrical equipments, were damaged. After the flood, a lot of mud and soil remained.

During the difficult time, the school received timely support and assistance from the local government, Regiment 351 (Navy Region 3) and engineering troops. After clearing the mud from the school yard, Regiment 351 planned to disinfect all classrooms and functional rooms; and sent forces to repair electrical equipment. "Teachers and the school consider this a great source of spiritual encouragement to confidently overcome all difficulties," said Ms. Ha Thi My Dung.

Soldier Phan Tran Nhat Viet said: After the flood, although the mud is thick, we officers and soldiers will try our best to clean up so that the students can return to school soon.

At Dien Phuong Kindergarten, the water was nearly 2 meters deep, many learning tools and equipment were submerged, covered in mud and dirt, and were taken outside by officers and soldiers of Regiment 351 to be washed and cleaned.

Ms. Vo Thi Hong Huong, Principal of Dien Phuong Kindergarten, emotionally shared: The school is located in a low-lying area of ​​Dien Ban Ward. Because the flood this year was so severe, the consequences were very severe. The water level was more than 1.7m, many of the school's belongings and equipment were damaged. Thanks to the help of Regiment 351, the school has now stabilized.
