According to Dinh Trung Can, Director General of the Vietnam Music Copyright Protection Center, the total amount of music copyright royalties collected by the center in 2025 is over 424 billion VND. This figure excludes value-added tax and represents an 8% increase compared to 2024. Of this amount, over 211 billion VND was collected in the North, and nearly 213 billion VND in the South.

Over the past period, the Vietnam Music Copyright Protection Center has collected and disbursed nearly 267 billion VND to copyright owners. This represents a 5% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The copyright fees for the fourth quarter of 2025 will be reconciled by the center and disbursed before the Lunar New Year in 2026.
