Vinh Phuc Social Work Center does a good job in social services.

Based on its functions and tasks, Vinh Phuc Social Work Center (under the Department of Health of Phu Tho province) provides voluntary care and assistance services to people in need (elderly people, people with disabilities, cases of mental retardation, autistic children), according to Clause 5, Article 24, Decree 20 dated March 15, 2021.

In 2025, Vinh Phuc Social Work Center has received, cared for, and assisted 25 people who voluntarily needed care and support, including: the elderly, people with disabilities, cases of mental retardation, and autistic children in the form of boarding (for the elderly, people with disabilities) and semi-boarding (for autistic children, cases of mental retardation).

Vinh Phuc Social Work Center regularly connects with specialized units to evaluate autistic and mentally retarded children.

Upon admission for care and assistance, the Center has developed a support plan appropriate to each case, through daily medical care (health monitoring, prescription medication support), providing nutrition that is appropriate for each person, and guidance on participating in cultural, artistic, and rehabilitation activities at the Center.

Care and assistance for the elderly at Vinh Phuc Social Work Center

As a form of providing Social Work services to vulnerable cases, the Center's services partly meet the needs of society, because society is increasingly developing, families are busy with work and cannot regularly take care of relatives, and at the same time do not have the skills to take care of the elderly and the sick, so families send their relatives to the Center for care and assistance on a voluntary basis.

On the other hand, most families with children with autism or mental retardation do not have many methods and skills to care for children at home, while these cases need to be detected early to support care, help them improve their medical condition, and soon integrate into the community.

In the coming time, in order to continue to support those in need of voluntary care, Vinh Phuc Social Work Center will continue to deploy many forms of propaganda for the services provided by the Center; maintain a 24/7 hotline 1800585898 to receive social assistance information in the province; organize well the care of cases at the Center; connect with medical facilities and art clubs in the area to provide health care, rehabilitation and cultural and artistic activities for all cases cared for at the Center.
