Nearly 13 years of working in the front is the same amount of years that Mr. Nguyen Van Toan has devoted himself to the development of the locality.
Having worked in the hamlet since the age of 20, Mr. Toan has held many different positions. In 2012, he was assigned to be the Head of the Front Work Committee of Hamlet 6A, Luong Hoa Commune. Having grown up, trained, and worked long-term in the hamlet through many positions, Mr. Toan understands the thoughts and aspirations of the people. Since then, he has been more successful in mobilizing the masses to participate in local movements.
Sharing his experience in front work, Mr. Toan confided: “If we want all movements and activities to be effective, first of all, we must be exemplary and maintain our prestige so that people trust and follow. In addition, we must go hand in hand with our actions, “talk straight and eat honestly”, put ourselves in the position of the people to listen and understand. From there, we have ways to propagate, mobilize, and implement movements that are both in line with the Party's will and meet the people's hearts. In particular, the activities of the front must originate from the aspirations and legitimate interests of the people, must be close to the people and must always put the people's interests first to be successful.”
In addition to doing a good job of mobilizing people to build a cultural life, every year, he participates in mobilizing funds with the State to upgrade and repair roads, build rural traffic bridges, install lighting systems, etc. In recent years, he and the hamlet have mobilized funding sources to build traffic bridges, asphalt the Nam Xang Lon road, build a hamlet cultural house, etc. with a total cost of about 5 billion VND. Of which, the source of mobilizing people to contribute funds, donate land, architectural materials, and working days is about 1 billion VND.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Luong Hoa Commune, Tran Minh Tam, said: "In the past time, under the guidance of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune, Mr. Toan has proactively implemented movements and campaigns, especially mobilizing high consensus from the people in contributing funds to build roads, national flag routes, and embellishing green fences,...
He also mobilized funds to support poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the hamlet; actively participated in grassroots mediation work, contributing to maintaining village and neighborhood relationships, and building increasingly developed residential areas.
With his sense of responsibility and efforts in the past time, Mr. Toan received many Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for his outstanding achievements in front work and active participation in emulation movements and campaigns in the locality./.
