Specifically, in Decision No. 1652/QD-TTg dated December 26, 2024, the Prime Minister decided to merge Hai Duong Medical College under the People's Committee of Hai Duong province into Hai Duong University of Medical Technology under the Ministry of Health.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Health and the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to direct relevant agencies and units to hand over and receive the personnel, finance, assets, and students of Hai Duong Medical College under the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to Hai Duong Medical Technical University under the Ministry of Health in accordance with the provisions of law; the merger and reorganization process must ensure normal operations, legal and legitimate rights and interests of relevant parties, and prevent negativity, loss, and waste of finance and assets.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to direct and guide Hai Duong Medical Technical University on training and granting degrees to students studying at Hai Duong Medical College in accordance with the provisions of law.
* In Decision No. 1653/QD-TTg dated December 26, 2024, the Prime Minister decided to merge Nghe An Pedagogical College into Nghe An University of Economics and change the name of Nghe An University of Economics to Nghe An University under the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
Nghe An University is a public university with legal status, its own seal and account and operates in accordance with the provisions of law.
The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct Nghe An University of Economics, Nghe An Pedagogical College and relevant agencies and units to carry out the handover and acceptance of the personnel, finance, assets, and students of Nghe An Pedagogical College to Nghe An University of Economics and reorganize and rename Nghe An University of Economics to Nghe An University in accordance with the provisions of law; the process of merger, reorganization and renaming must ensure normal operation, legal and legitimate rights and interests of the relevant parties, and prevent negativity, loss, and waste of finance and assets.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to direct and guide Nghe An University on training and granting degrees to students studying at Nghe An Pedagogical College in accordance with the provisions of law.
