10 candidates from Ca Mau meet the standards of professor and associate professor

This is an honor for Dr. Tien Hai Ly personally, and at the same time a pride for the intellectual team of Ca Mau province when there is another scientist recognized at the national level.

Dr. Phan Van Dan, Rector of Bac Lieu University, authorized by the State Council of Professors to present the decision recognizing Dr. Tien Hai Ly as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor.

Dr. Ngo Duc Luu, Party Secretary and Chairman of the School Board, presented flowers to congratulate new Associate Professor Tien Hai Ly.

Previously, on November 19, 2025, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, Chairman of the State Council of Professors, signed Decision No. 79/QD-HDGSNN recognizing the qualifications for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2025 for 900 candidates, including 71 Professors and 829 Associate Professors. Among the 10 candidates originally from Ca Mau, Dr. Tien Hai Ly is a representative from the field of obstetrics , currently working at Bac Lieu University .

The process of considering and recognizing the title of Professor and Associate Professor is carried out according to a 3-level council process, based on the training, research and scientific publication process of each candidate. In addition to the review through the council levels, all candidate profiles are also compared through the online system to ensure transparency, avoid duplication and receive social feedback.

At the ceremony, Bac Lieu University awarded 150 million VND in support to new Associate Professor Tien Hai Ly in recognition of his contributions to research and training; and also awarded 50 million VND in support to two lecturers who had just completed their doctoral programs.

Dr. Phan Van Dan, Principal of Bac Lieu University, presented a symbolic plaque of the support amount to recognize the achievements and dedication of new Associate Professor Tien Hai Ly.

Dr. Phan Van Dan presented support to two new PhDs: Mai Nhu Phuong (Plant Protection) and Phan Viet Dua (Tourism), lecturers of the school.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year were commended by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the school, contributing to encouraging the teaching staff in teaching and scientific research.

Dr. Ngo Duc Luu, Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council, authorized to award the Certificate of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to Bac Lieu University - a collective with outstanding achievements in the period 2020-2025.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tien Hai Ly, Vice Principal, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to award the commendation to 2 excellent Labor Collectives: Department of Training Linkage, Human Resources Development and Admissions; Faculty of Economics and Law.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tien Hai Ly, on behalf of the Government, awarded the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter to 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in their work.
