Recently, the Council of Hanoi National University of Education has issued resolutions on the establishment of the above schools. Specifically, the 3 newly established schools under Hanoi National University of Education have the following functions and tasks:

The School of Early Childhood Development Sciences will become a national key center for training, research and knowledge transfer on early childhood development sciences, with prestige and leading position in the region, contributing to promoting the comprehensive development of Vietnamese children in the early stages of life.

The School of Educational Sciences will become a key national center for training, research and transfer of educational science knowledge and have a position in the region, actively contributing to the development of modern, humanistic and internationally integrated Vietnamese education.

The School of Mathematics and Information Technology will become an excellent training center, with advanced research approaching international standards in the fields of Mathematics and Information Technology, contributing to the development of Vietnamese science and education in the digital age.

Currently, the country has 11 universities, 173 public colleges and academies; 67 private universities and foreign-invested institutions.

11 universities include: Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Thai Nguyen University, Hue University, Da Nang University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, National Economics University, Duy Tan University, Phenikaa University, Can Tho University.
