On October 10, the Saigon Center for Education Quality Assessment (CEA-SAIGON) in collaboration with Cuu Long University organized the closing ceremony of the official survey to assess the quality of the school's training programs, including 3 training programs: Automotive Engineering Technology, Law, and Aquaculture according to the Circular of the Ministry of Education and Training .

The official external assessment (EE) survey activities of the Expert Group at Cuu Long University took place over 4 days (from October 7 to 10) including the following activities: studying supporting documents and related documents; interviewing and discussing with relevant groups inside and outside the school; working directly with professional staff in charge of functional units and faculties in charge of training programs; observing teaching and learning activities; surveying opinions of relevant parties; inspecting and surveying facilities serving training programs such as: libraries, documentation rooms, practice rooms, laboratories, classrooms, training grounds, etc.
At the closing session, the DGN expert delegation reported preliminary results of the official survey at the training program level at Cuu Long University.
The report of the Expert Group presented specific results of the evaluation of training programs according to each criterion and standard. Pointed out the advantages and specific recommendations for each standard, and general recommendations for the school and related affiliated units to develop strategies and solutions to improve the quality of training programs as well as orient the school's development in the coming time.
Speaking at the closing session, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu - President of Cuu Long University - expressed his sincere thanks to the Delegation of Experts for their professional working methods and serious, dedicated and objective spirit in providing accurate information in the report and recommendations of practical significance to the school.

The President of Cuu Long University accepted the recommendations of the Expert Group and the school continued to review and develop a plan to overcome, improve and enhance the quality of training programs, contributing to improving the training quality of the school.
"I hope that the CEA-SAIGON Center will continue to support the school in accrediting more training programs, striving to increase the number of training programs that meet the school's standards to about 60%. In the near future, the school will invest in building facilities and equipment to better serve teaching and learning, striving to turn Cuu Long University into Cuu Long University with 5 member schools by 2030, contributing to training high-quality human resources for the region and the whole country" - Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu expressed.

During the process of studying supporting documents, conducting field surveys and contacting relevant subjects, the Delegation made objective comments, assessments and recommendations to improve the quality of Cuu Long University in accordance with reality.
The Deputy Director of CEA-SAIGON highly appreciated the development of Cuu Long University in recent times, especially the development in training scale. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the University, the Faculties, and the affiliated units for their effective coordination in providing information and evidence that contributed significantly to the success of the survey.

The Center will complete the external assessment report and documents to grant the certificate of quality accreditation for 3 training programs to Cuu Long University. She pledged to continue to accompany the school, support professional work, help Cuu Long University promote its strengths, overcome limitations, and contribute to improving the training quality of the school.

At the end of the closing session, Saigon Quality Assessment Center, the DGN Expert Delegation and Cuu Long University signed the minutes of completion of the official survey to serve the external assessment of the training program level at Cuu Long University.
Up to now, Cuu Long University has 22/46 training programs that have been externally assessed, reaching a rate of 47.82%, exceeding 12.82% (compared to the regulation of at least 35% by 2025). Of which, 19 training programs have been recognized as meeting educational quality assessment standards (14 undergraduate training programs, 5 master's training programs).
