- Ca Mau Provincial Military Command donated 170 million VND to help people in flood-affected areas.
- Phung Ngoc Liem Primary School donated nearly 28 million VND to help people in the North.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu ward received and presented support to flood victims in the North from the Board of Directors of Vo Thi Sau Secondary School.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province and Bac Lieu ward , the school launched a fundraising campaign among all staff, teachers, employees and parents. At the flag-salute ceremonies, teachers and students shared the difficulties and losses that the people of the North and Central regions are suffering. In the spirit of "mutual love", the school donated nearly 60 million VND to help people overcome difficulties soon.
Speaking at the reception, Ms. Doan Hong Linh respectfully acknowledged the kindness of the school. She said that up to now, the Ward Front has received more than 150 million VND from contributions from all walks of life. After the campaign ends, the entire amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province to support people in flood-affected areas.
From the revenue of "Small planning house", Vo Thi Sau Secondary School gave 500 kg of rice to the Fatherland Front of Bac Lieu ward to support people in difficulty.
On this occasion, Vo Thi Sau Secondary School also summarized the "Small Plan House" movement and expanded the model. After nearly 3 months of launching, the teams have actively collected cans, plastic bottles, scrap paper... to contribute to environmental protection and create an operating fund. After 2 collection rounds, the movement brought in nearly 9 million VND. From this fund, the Union donated 500 kg of rice to support people in the flood-affected areas of the North and Central regions.
The Union also continues to launch the movement, deploying 4 more "Small Planning Houses" on campus. The collected funds will continue to serve meaningful projects and tasks such as purchasing equipment for the Union's activities, giving gifts to poor students and those in difficult circumstances during holidays and competitions.
