
Attending the ceremony were former Politburo member and former President Truong Tan Sang; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc – Deputy Minister of Education and Training, and former student of the school; former Central Committee member and former Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Ranh, along with leaders of departments, agencies, and localities, former officials, teachers, staff, and a large number of former students from various periods.

At the ceremony, the Principal of Hau Nghia High School, Tran Van Truyen, reviewed the 50-year journey of "cultivating virtue and developing talent," affirming the persistent efforts of many generations of teachers, staff, and employees in the cause of nurturing future generations in this land rich in revolutionary traditions.

Over half a century of construction and development, Hau Nghia High School has affirmed its position with many proud achievements: for many consecutive years, it has been awarded the title of Excellent Labor Collective, and has been awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister and the Provincial People's Committee; the quality of teaching and learning has been continuously improved; and the movements for excellent students, scientific research, and sports have achieved many outstanding results. The teaching staff has continuously grown, with many teachers achieving the title of Excellent Teacher, Emulation Soldier, and having initiatives that have been widely applied throughout the education sector.

In particular, many former students have become professors, doctors, leading experts, leaders at all levels, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and soldiers working in various fields, contributing to the development of their homeland and country. The 50th anniversary celebration is not only an opportunity to look back on the journey but also a heartwarming moment when generations of teachers and students return to reunite.

At the ceremony, the Minister of Education and Training awarded a certificate of merit to the collective of Hau Nghia High School; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 10 individuals, and the Director of the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 21 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the construction and development of the school on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.

On this occasion, Hau Nghia High School awarded 20 scholarships for students facing difficulties and 10 prizes to outstanding students; Agribank's Bac Long An Branch donated 100 million VND to the school to support its educational endeavors. The school also presented bouquets of flowers to express gratitude to organizations and individuals who have always supported and contributed to the school's development.


Speaking at the ceremony, former Politburo member and former President Truong Tan Sang acknowledged and highly appreciated the immense contributions of generations of teachers to the local education system; affirming that this is a revolutionary land where education plays a particularly important role in nurturing and developing people; and expressing his hope that the staff, teachers, and students of Hau Nghia High School will continue to strive to build the school into a reliable educational institution of the province in the present and future, contributing to training human resources to meet the development requirements of the country.




Looking ahead, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc – Deputy Minister of Education and Training, hopes that the school will continue to uphold its traditions, innovate education in a modern direction, promote the application of technology, and unleash students' creativity; connect learning with practice, strengthen coordination between family, school, and society, and build a team of teachers who serve as role models for students to constantly strive for excellence.
