Media peak campaign to promote participation in social insurance

“All people participate in social insurance and health insurance – For the benefit of themselves, their families and the community” is the message at the launching ceremony of the peak communication campaign to encourage people to participate in voluntary social insurance and self-paid health insurance in the province, organized by Quang Ngai Provincial Social Insurance this morning (November 1).

The peak communication campaign focused on extensive propaganda, targeting the core group of people, closely coordinating between agencies, units and collection service organizations. Affirming that this is both the right and responsibility of each citizen, contributing to ensuring sustainable social security. Social insurance and health insurance are two pillar social security policies, demonstrating the profound humanity of the State in caring for people's lives.

In the context of many difficulties, natural disasters, and epidemics, participating in insurance helps people reduce the burden of medical expenses, have a stable source of income when they retire, and contribute to building a safe and sustainable society. The amended Law on Social Insurance and Law on Health Insurance, effective from July 1, 2025, with many new policies beneficial to people such as increasing the level of support from the budget, expanding the participation group, flexible payment methods and improving beneficiary rights. Freelancers, farmers, small traders, and low-income people have more opportunities to access policies more conveniently.
