At the media session, the reporters provided an overview of the HIV/AIDS situation in Da Nang and Vietnam; introduced advances in modern medicine such as HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), ARV treatment to help infected people achieve the state of "undetectable = untransmittable" (U=U); and at the same time, provided guidance on preventive measures such as PrEP, PEP, early HIV testing and safe practices...
In addition to direct communication activities, students also visited the HIV/AIDS communication booth, where visual materials, illustrative models and infographics were displayed. This activity helped students access knowledge in a vivid and memorable way; contributing to raising awareness, changing behavior and building a community without stigma and discrimination, towards the goal of a future without HIV/AIDS.
In 2025, with the theme “Unity is strength - joining hands to end AIDS”, the program emphasizes the role of young people in building a knowledgeable, civilized and non-discriminatory community. The slogan “Youth join hands - for a future without HIV/AIDS” is conveyed as an affirmation of the responsibility and power to create change of the young generation.
