During the traffic ban, vehicles from central Lam Dong province can choose to travel along National Highway 28B, National Highway 55, or the B'Sa – Da P'Loa road (DT.717) to reach the eastern part of Lam Dong province.

As reported by SGGP newspaper, on the morning of May 19th, the People's Committee of Son Dien commune (Lam Dong province) advised residents not to travel through Gia Bac pass on National Highway 28 to ensure safety due to the risk of landslides.

Here, soil from the embankment has spilled onto the road at kilometer 51+900 on National Highway 28, making it very difficult for vehicles to pass. The road surface is slippery and muddy, posing a high risk to traffic safety, especially since the opposite side is a deep ravine without guardrails.

On May 19th, heavy rain occurred in many areas of Son Dien commune, posing a risk of landslides and endangering vehicles traveling through Gia Bac pass.
