From September 21 to October 21, Huong Son district ( Ha Tinh ) continued to launch a peak month of new rural construction in all communes and towns to speed up the completion of criteria in the last months of the year.
Son Trung commune launched a movement to build new rural areas.
By September 2023, the entire Huong Son district had hardened 40.9 km of roads of all kinds, 10.76 km of drainage ditches, 1.02 km of intra-field canals, and built 40.53 km of new power lines to light up the countryside. 23 communes have built 30 new entertainment areas for the elderly and children; built 599 pits to store and treat livestock manure...
Immediately after the launching ceremony, people of Son Trung commune started to expand the traffic route in Tien Long village.
However, the results achieved compared to the set plan are not high, the new rural construction movement among localities is uneven.
The launch of the peak month for new rural construction in the whole district aims to create momentum and enthusiasm for localities in the remaining months of 2023.
In village 5, Son Truong commune, more than 30 people participated in planting hibiscus hedges on both sides of the road to cover the inter-village roads.
The peak month will take place from September 21 to October 21, when all localities will simultaneously launch campaigns to accelerate the progress of building advanced, model new rural communes and civilized urban areas. The district will also mobilize forces from departments, offices, and units to join in supporting the completion of new rural construction plans in 2023.
Ha Tinh Border Guard forces help people in Ham Giang village, Son Ham commune trim green hedges.
During the peak month, localities focus on a number of criteria such as: expanding and hardening traffic routes to ensure they meet the standards prescribed in Decision No. 36/2022/QD-UBND dated December 9, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee; installing signs, directional signs, lighting, speed bumps, trees, and regularly distributing to ensure traffic corridors.
Pay high attention to the environment in residential areas, household gardens, and livestock; eliminate single- and double-compartment toilets; relocate substandard livestock barns; classify and treat domestic waste, build a system to treat domestic and livestock wastewater; consolidate and improve the activities of environmental cooperatives.
