The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that last night and early morning of December 9, in areas including Hue City, Da Nang City and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, there will continue to be rain and showers.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from the afternoon of December 9 to the end of December 10, the Hue City area and the South Central coastal provinces will continue to have rain, with intensity ranging from moderate to heavy rain. The average rainfall is 40-70mm, with some places over 150mm. At the same time, during the day and night of December 9, the Central Highlands and the South will also have showers and thunderstorms (average rainfall of 20-40mm, with some places over 80mm). From the night of December 10, heavy rain in the above areas is likely to gradually decrease.
According to meteorological experts, the cause of the rain in the Central and Southern regions is due to a disturbance in the East Sea that is showing signs of moving inland. From the afternoon of December 9, this disturbance began to affect the southern provinces and gradually increased in intensity from the night of December 9 to December 10.
Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast also have rain, but the intensity of rain in the South is not as great as in the South Central region.
