The "Proud of My Fatherland" Half-marathon took place early in the morning of April 13, with three events starting at the Lang Le Bau Co relic site. During the tournament, many special images were captured.
Notably, before the finish line of the "Proud of My Fatherland" Half-marathon, an elderly runner saluted the soldiers in the Lang Le Bau Co relic site.
The soldiers of Gia Dinh Regiment quickly responded to the sacred and solemn moment with their runners advancing towards the enemy in the 21 km event.
Near the end of the race, veteran Tran Hong Phu (62 years old) raced to the finish line with a proud banner welcoming "50 years of national reunification 1975-2025".
Before the biggest celebration this April, many runners also look forward to the Liberation Day of the South and national reunification with red flag and yellow star shirts.
Many other runners held fluttering national flags in their hands at other distances of the race.
