The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a glorious milestone in the journey of defending, building, and developing our country and our people.

Looking back over the past 96 years, proud of the glorious traditions of the Party, we cherish and preserve the great achievements of the revolution; we remember the heroic contributions and sacrifices of many generations of cadres, Party members, compatriots, and comrades for the ideals and goals of the Party; and we are infinitely grateful for the immense contributions of the beloved President Ho Chi Minh - the founder, leader, and mentor of our Party.

Experience has confirmed that the correct, skillful, and insightful leadership of the Party is the primary factor determining all the victories of the Vietnamese revolution.

Indeed, over the past 96 years, the Party has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, made correct leadership decisions, leading to glorious victories.

These were the glorious victories of the August Revolution in 1945; the victory of the resistance war against French colonial aggression in 1954; and the victory of the resistance war against the US, culminating in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign in 1975. From this point on, our country was completely unified, and our people were completely free.

This is a victory for the comprehensive and thorough national reform process, achieving great and historically significant accomplishments.

In particular, after 40 years of reform, our country's foundation, potential, position, and international prestige have been elevated to a new level. The achievements after 40 years of implementing the reform process further demonstrate the courage, wisdom, and talent of the Party; not only building firm confidence among the entire nation in the Party's leadership role but also earning recognition and admiration from friends around the world .

The entire Vietnamese people have unwavering faith in the Party because our Party always knows how to preserve and promote fine traditions; our Party has the heart and vision to lead the entire nation through all obstacles and challenges.

The Party has always focused on innovating its leadership methods, building a clean and strong Party in terms of politics , ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel. The Party continuously strengthens its close ties with the people; it is the nucleus that unites and promotes the strength of national unity.

Looking back at the five years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, it can be affirmed that the 2021-2025 term was a challenging journey but also marked many important, comprehensive, and long-term significant results. Economic growth during the 2021-2025 period averaged 6.3% per year, placing Vietnam among the high-growth countries in the region and the world; the quality of growth has seen positive changes, and development investment resources have been mobilized and used more effectively; economic growth has been more closely linked to ensuring social progress and equity.

National defense and security have been continuously strengthened and consolidated; foreign relations and international integration have been elevated. Significant results have been achieved in Party building and rectification; the revolution in reorganizing the political system's apparatus towards a streamlined, efficient, and effective structure has yielded groundbreaking results.

The 14th National Congress of the Party is a political event of special significance, of historical importance, marking a turning point in the country's development process. With the motto "Unity-Democracy-Discipline-Breakthrough-Development," the 14th National Congress of the Party will take place in Hanoi from January 19-25, 2026, with the participation of 1,586 delegates representing over 5.6 million members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The theme of the Congress is: “Under the glorious banner of the Party, united in purpose and determination to successfully achieve the national development goals by 2030; self-reliant, confident, and strong in the era of national progress, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily advancing towards socialism.”

Our people eagerly await the 14th National Congress of the Party with its strategic decisions to enable Vietnam to move forward strongly in the new era, successfully achieving the national development goals by 2030, when the Party celebrates its 100th anniversary (1930-2030); and realizing the development vision until 2045, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945-2045).

Welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party , we have every right to be proud of our glorious Party and pledge our unwavering loyalty to the Party to lead the entire nation forward into a new era of development!
