From the second day of Tet (Lunar New Year), the weather in Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold.

According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, from February 18-22 (the 2nd to 6th day of the Lunar New Year), the Northern and North Central regions will experience cold and freezing weather, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. The South Central region, the Central Highlands, and the Southern region will have sunny days.

Specifically, in the Northern region, from February 18-19 (the 2nd to 3rd day of Tet), there will be scattered rain and light rain; the Northwest region will have rain in some areas, cold weather, and intensely cold temperatures in mountainous areas. The lowest temperature will be from 16-19 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas below 13 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 19-23 degrees Celsius, with the Northwest region reaching 23-25 ​​degrees Celsius, and some areas exceeding 25 degrees Celsius.

From February 20-22 (the 4th to 6th day of the Lunar New Year), there will be light rain in some areas, with scattered fog and light mist in the mornings; particularly in mountainous areas on February 21-22 (the 5th and 6th days of the Lunar New Year), there will be scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some places, and cold weather at night and early morning. The highest temperature will be 17-21 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas below 16 degrees Celsius, and the Northwest region reaching 28 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi will experience scattered rain and drizzle from February 18-19 (the 2nd to 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), with cold weather. The lowest temperature will be 17-19 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 20-23 degrees Celsius in the North and 24-27 degrees Celsius in the South.

From February 20-22 (the 4th to the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), there will be light rain in some areas, with scattered fog and light mist in the mornings, and cold weather at night and in the early morning. The lowest temperature in the North will be 19-21 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 23-26 degrees Celsius.

The lowest temperature will be 17-22 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 21-24 degrees Celsius in the North and 24-27 degrees Celsius in the South.

From February 21-22 (the 5th to 6th day of the Lunar New Year), there will be scattered rain, with fog and light mist in the early morning, and sunny weather in the afternoon. The lowest temperature will be 19-22 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in the North will be 24-27 degrees Celsius.

The South Central coastal region will experience sunny days and scattered showers at night from February 18-22 (the 2nd to 6th day of the Lunar New Year); the northern part (from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa) will have scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas, from February 18-20 (the 2nd to 4th day of the Lunar New Year). The lowest temperature will be 21-25°C. The highest temperature will be 26-28°C in the north and 28-32°C in the south.

The Central Highlands region will experience little rain and sunny days from February 18-22 (the 2nd to 6th day of the Lunar New Year). The lowest temperature will be 17-21 degrees Celsius, with some areas below 17 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in the North will be 27-31 degrees Celsius.

In the Southern region from February 18-22 (the 2nd to 6th day of the Lunar New Year), there will be little rain and sunny days. The lowest temperature will be 23-26 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 32-35 degrees Celsius, with some areas in the Eastern region exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.
