Starting February 9th, a new urban railway schedule will be implemented during peak hours.

Hanoi Metro Company Limited (Hanoi Railway) adjusted peak hour times and implemented a new train schedule on both urban railway lines 2A Cat Linh – Ha Dong and 3.1 Nho Son – Hanoi Station from February 9th.

Specifically, peak hours are from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM and from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with a train frequency of 6 minutes per trip. (Previously, peak hours were from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM).

During the hours of 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the train frequency is 10 minutes per trip. During the hours of 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the train frequency is 15 minutes per trip (previously the frequency was 10 minutes per trip).

The operating hours of the urban railway lines remain unchanged from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM daily. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays, the frequency of trains throughout the day on both lines 2A and 3.1 (elevated section) is 10 minutes per trip.

The implementation of the new train schedule is a necessary adjustment, in accordance with Decision No. 01/2026/QD-UBND dated January 4, 2026, of the Hanoi People's Committee on the promulgation of regulations on the operation of road transport vehicles in the city, aiming to optimize transport capacity and provide passengers with a safe, convenient, and environmentally friendly travel experience, especially during peak hours with high passenger traffic density.
