From Japan, volleyball star Thanh Thúy continues to help impoverished patients in Vietnam.

After receiving the prize money from the Victory Cup and the reward from Binh Dien Company, Thanh Thuy used the money to support patients undergoing treatment at the cancer hospital.

On February 15th (28th of the lunar calendar), Thanh Thúy's parents visited the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital on her behalf to present meaningful gifts to impoverished patients.

The actions of the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team moved many fans.

Previously, Thanh Thúy received the Most Popular Athlete of 2025 award at the Victory Cup. This is the second time, after the 2023 season, that she has been honored by fans nationwide in this special category.

Last year, Thanh Thúy made an impressive comeback, especially in the national team's jersey.

She made significant contributions in both defensive and offensive roles, helping the team achieve remarkable successes such as winning the second stage of the SEA V.League and a silver medal at the 33rd SEA Games...

Thanh Thúy was also a key figure in the Vietnamese women's volleyball team's campaign to participate in the Women's World Volleyball Championship.

Currently, the 1997-born outside hitter is playing for Gunma Green Wings in the Japanese SV-League. She has had some outstanding performances, becoming a key star for her new team.

Because she is currently working abroad, Thanh Thúy is unable to return home for Tet (Lunar New Year).
