From farmers' pain to technology products: The story of a device developed by Vietnamese people

In the context of technology penetrating every corner of life, Vietnamese agriculture is still suffering many disadvantages when most modern equipment must be imported, expensive, difficult to use and not suitable for actual conditions in the fields. In the midst of that flow, Nuke Technology - a small technology company born in Vietnam - has chosen a different path: making technology developed by Vietnamese people - for Vietnamese farmers.

High-tech agricultural solutions – Nuke Technology, breakthrough thinking

Despite its small scale and limited financial resources, the Nuke Technology team carries within itself an indomitable spirit like the thousand-year history of the Vietnamese people. Not following the beaten path of "copying foreign technology", Nuke chooses to research and develop itself - starting from the seemingly small but essential needs of farmers: turning on/off the pump without having to go far, without the need for internet, without the need for an app.

After a long time of self-discovery, learning, research and testing in poor conditions , along with practical experience accumulated through many years of working in foreign technology companies, domestic corporations and startups , the first device was born - a remote control that does not require the Internet , operates within a radius of 2-10km, is easy to install, easy to use, has a clear command authentication mechanism , and is absolutely suitable for older users who are not familiar with technology .

The product is not only a technical achievement, but also a manifesto of Nuke Technology :
Vietnamese people can master technology – and create the best solutions for Vietnamese people themselves.

Nuke Technology's NL02 product has just been launched.

This wireless control device uses LoRa waves for a distance of 2-10km without Wi-Fi, no SIM, no software installation. With 6 independent control ports , the product can turn on/off pumps, lights, fans, dryers... with just one fixed controller. In particular, the device has a status authentication mechanism , helping users know for sure that the device has executed the command, completely overcoming the situation of "pressing without knowing whether it works or not" in common control products.

The product has undergone long-term practical testing, achieved high stability and proven to be suitable for the actual farming needs of Vietnamese farmers. The device is designed so that the elderly can also use it easily, without the need for technological knowledge. Currently, the device is being distributed through agricultural material dealers with high discount policies, on-site support, or rented for only 100,000 VND/month , applicable to customers in Tay Ninh province.

Building on the success of the first device, the development team is preparing to launch a smart agricultural ecosystem , integrating many advanced features such as:

· Management app by plantation chain, region

· Scheduled, moisture or manual irrigation

· Weather forecast and disaster warning

· Flood sensor – automatic water suction system

· Device connectivity operates over an area of up to 10 km²

· AI predicts humidity, flood risk

· Detect damaged devices, lost signals

· Use solar energy for sensor, easy to install, durable

This system operates on the Google Cloud platform, ensuring safety, security and stability. It is expected that the product will be widely introduced at the end of this year and gradually bring Vietnamese technology solutions to the international market , starting through the Amazon Global platform.
