On a chilly November afternoon, in the warm atmosphere of Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted, the talk show “From Thai Nguyen to Russia - A journey of connecting culture and knowledge” took place in an intimate and meaningful atmosphere. The program had the participation of teacher Mariia Pronhina, a teacher from faraway Russia and 12th grade students majoring in Russian.

Sharing her feelings when she first set foot in Thai Nguyen, teacher Mariia Pronhina smiled: I was very impressed with the vast green tea hills, the fresh air and the friendly people. Thai Nguyen is both modern and peaceful - like a gentle friend of mine in Vietnam.

During her years of teaching at Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted, teacher Mariia Pronhina not only brought knowledge but also passed on her love for Russian language and culture to Vietnamese students. For teacher Mariia Pronhina, the most memorable image of Thai Nguyen is the "Tan Cuong tea capital" - where each cup of tea contains the flavor of humanity. "If I had to choose a symbol to introduce to my friends in Russia, I would choose Tan Cuong tea hills. Like the wheat fields in Russia, it is a symbol of diligence, love for the homeland and people in harmony with nature" - teacher Mariia Pronhina confided.

Representing the Russian specialized class, Nguyen Tuan Kien shared his unforgettable impressions during his trip to the Interdom international summer camp in Ivanovo city (Russia) - a journey that opened the door to knowledge and friendship. “That May, for the first time in my life, I saw snow. The white snow covering the hilltop was so beautiful that I couldn’t believe my eyes” - Kien recounted with shining eyes.

At the summer camp, Kien and his international friends learned to sing, dance, and enjoy traditional Russian dishes such as pies and blinis. He also had the opportunity to visit ancient churches, museums, and walk on Red Square in Moscow - the heart of Russia. Kien said: "The most wonderful thing is that I have more Russian friends. We speak Russian together, laugh together, and share stories. I understand that language is the door to the human heart."

That trip became the motivation for Kien to study harder, make it to the national Russian language team, and nurture his dream of becoming a diplomat - contributing to preserving and developing the Vietnam - Russia friendship.

Not only is she a dedicated teacher, Ms. Mariia Pronhina also always tries to bring Russian culture closer to Vietnamese students. Ms. Mariia Pronhina said, I hope you always keep your love for language and culture - because each language is a bridge connecting people to people. When learning Russian, you are not only learning a language, but also opening the door to a deeper understanding of the world , and for Russians to better understand friendly and hospitable Vietnam.

The talk ended with laughter, gentle Kachiusa melodies and warm handshakes. Teacher Mariia Pronhina believes that Thai Nguyen will continue to be one of the cultural and intellectual bridges between Vietnam and the Russian Federation - where friendship is nurtured not only by language, but also by heart.

From these simple sharings, it can be seen that language is not only a tool of communication but also a bridge connecting hearts, nurturing friendship and opening up new journeys of knowledge. And on that journey, Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted is becoming a "bright spot" in spreading the love of Russian - contributing to fostering a long-term relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
