On the first day of the week, July 14, the price of SJC gold bars remained stable. The next day, the price of gold decreased by VND400,000/tael in each direction, down to VND119.1 million/tael (buy) - VND121.1 million/tael (sell) in the context of the world price of precious metals falling to USD3,345/ounce due to investors taking profits and the USD price going up.
The next day, the price of precious metals dropped another 500,000 VND/tael, slipping below the 121 million VND/tael mark, down to 118.6 million VND/tael (buy) - 120.6 million VND/tael (sell).

After a day of stagnation, on July 18, the price of SJC gold bars reversed, increasing by VND900,000/tael (buying) and VND400,000/tael (selling), trading at VND119.5 million/tael (buying) - VND121 million/tael (selling).
By the end of the week of July 19, the gold price remained unchanged. The listed price was VND119.5 million/tael (buy) - VND121 million/tael (sell).
Thus, with the above developments, compared to last weekend, the gold price decreased by 500,000 VND/tael in the selling direction.
The price of gold rings also moved in the same direction as gold bars, so there was no significant change. At the end of the week, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited set the price of plain round gold rings at VND116.1 million/tael (buy) - VND119.1 million/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of the previous day. Phu Quy Group continued to set it at VND114.8 million/tael (buy) - VND117.8 million/tael (sell).
