On 12/11, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Hoang Dinh Can chaired the Press Conference to inform about the event of the 1st 2 Culture - Sports - Tourism Week of Long An province in the year 2024.
The 1st Culture - Sports - Tourism Week of Long An province 2 year 2024 takes place from 28/11 to 04/12 with 11 main activities held in Tan An city, Ben Luc district, Duc Hue.
The most prominent of these is the Opening Ceremony with the theme "Long An – Aspiration of the Vam River”, taking place at 20 time on 28/11 with a lively art program introducing and promoting the culture and image of Long An. The highlight of the opening ceremony is the light show in the sky using unmanned aerial vehicles.
Through the activities of the 2nd Long An Province Culture - Sports - Tourism Week, the province will introduce attractive tourism products, typical cuisine, tourism services associated with local cultural values as well as grand sports competitions and music festivals.
On this occasion, visitors were also introduced to the culture, potentials and strengths of some localities in Korea that participated in the event. Through the event, the connection, cooperation in economic and cultural development and people-to-people exchange between Long An province and other localities in the country and with localities and partners of Korea were enhanced. In particular, the 2024 Long An investment promotion conference and the conference on linkage, cooperation, tourism promotion and OCOP products between Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region within the framework of the 2nd Long An Province Culture - Sports - Tourism Week in 2024 are also opportunities for Long An to cooperate with partners, link with localities in the country and the world, promote investment in industry, trade, and tourism.
According to the Organizing Committee’s forecast, the 2nd Long An Province Culture, Sports and Tourism Week will welcome about 1 million visitors. Thereby, the event will help Long An promote its image, build tours and tourist routes, and attract investment in the future./
