The festival was organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, Can Tho University with the support of Vingroup Corporation.
At 7:30 a.m., before the opening ceremony, the festival was packed. Thousands of students and parents from the southwestern provinces flocked to the festival to learn about the school and the majors.
At the counseling booths, teachers worked "hard" to answer all questions from students. Meanwhile, volunteers and students from various schools brought many exciting and entertaining activities.
"3 regions" to Tay Do
The festival has 150 consulting booths of nearly 100 participating units to bring information to students. Among them, gathering in Tay Do are universities, colleges, and prestigiouseducational institutions in Can Tho City, Ho Chi Minh City and even further places such as Da Nang and Hanoi.
Schools in neighboring provinces of Can Tho City such as Tra Vinh, Dong Thap, Vinh Long… also had representatives attending.
The schools are diverse in both public and private sectors, with a variety of training fields from economics, humanities to engineering, science and technology.
In particular, the admissions and career counseling day in Can Tho attracted 20 universities from Taiwan to directly advise Vietnamese students. Along with that were representatives from famous educational systems such as Australia, Korea, and Japan, advising on many study paths for high school students.
Experts from universities will provide 1-on-1 consultation to candidates, answer all questions and provide the most updated information on training programs, admission methods, and labor market trends.
At the same time, the consulting booths will also organize many interesting activities, helping students experience a number of professions, thereby being able to make appropriate decisions when choosing a major.
Find answers to "hot" questions
Also at the festival, representatives of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Training will directly answer all questions from candidates related to the high school graduation exam as well as the upcoming university admission regulations.
Along with experts from the Ministry of Education and Training are representatives from universities such as the University of Technology, the University of Natural Sciences, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University), Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, University of Agriculture and Forestry...
In addition, representatives of schools under the Ministry of National Defense will provide more multi-dimensional perspectives on university and college admissions in 2025, which is of interest to many candidates.
In particular, from March 8, the 2025 College & University Admissions Handbook of Tuoi Tre newspaper was released. The handbook has a capacity of 164 pages, containing the latest information on the high school graduation exam, this year's admissions as well as many tips for studying and passing exams from experts, talented students and university students.
