Hung Yen Police Youth: Courage, Aspiration, Pioneers in the Era of Innovation

The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hung Yen Provincial Police, term 2025 - 2030 took place at a time of special significance: the two provinces of Thai Binh and Hung Yen merged, the police apparatus of the two provinces unified under the name of Hung Yen Provincial Police. This is an important milestone, crystallizing the tradition, experience and development aspirations of the two forces; opening a new period full of courage, aspiration and pioneering spirit of the youth of Hung Yen Police.

Pioneer in all areas of work

Major Nguyen Duy Hung, Head of the Youth Department of Hung Yen Provincial Police, said: Over the past time, the youth of Hung Yen Provincial Police have affirmed their pioneering and creative role as the core force in performing the task of ensuring security and order, maintaining the peaceful life of the people. No matter what field they are in, union members and youth always uphold the spirit of responsibility, ready to take on difficult and new tasks.

Youth union members are the core force in hundreds of criminal, drug, "black credit" and high-tech crime cases; many people work all night, persistently "sticking together 3 times, working together 4 times", "staying awake so people can sleep well, standing guard so people can have fun". In the campaigns to clean up population data and issue citizen identification cards, youth union members are the main force. From March to June 2023, nearly 250 union members supported the activation of more than 91,000 VNeID accounts, putting Hung Yen in the leading group of the country. The Provincial Police Youth Union has proposed more than 3,000 ideas, 95 initiatives, models and typical youth projects, of which the model " Collecting information, reflecting the security and order situation at the grassroots level" is prominent, which has been commended and replicated by the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission. These results affirm the creative and proactive spirit of young police officers in carrying out political tasks and administrative reform, contributing to building an increasingly disciplined and modern force.

Spreading the spirit for the community

Along with the task of ensuring security and order, social work and volunteer work are regularly organized by the Youth Union, becoming a bright spot in the youth movement. The Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Police Women's Association to honor 5,000 students who are children of officers and soldiers with good academic achievements; opened 3 free swimming classes for nearly 60 children; and presented hundreds of gifts for Tet and Mid-Autumn Festival to poor children and policy families with a total value of social security activities reaching more than 5 billion VND.

The Provincial Police Youth Union presented a project to remove dilapidated houses for students in especially difficult circumstances.

Entering 2025, the Provincial Police Youth Union continues to coordinate with units and enterprises to implement the program of building 30 "Great Unity" houses for poor households and people with revolutionary contributions, with a total cost of 4.5 billion VND; at the same time, promoting the voluntary blood donation movement, supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, building new rural areas, thereby spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police soldier "Serving the People". Senior Lieutenant Le Duc Hung, Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghia Tru Commune Police shared:

We always consider being close to the people and understanding the people as a regular task. Each member of the Commune Police must have a firm grasp of the area, promptly propagate and mobilize people to obey the law, and actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security".

Comrade Thieu Minh Quynh, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Youth Union, assessed: Hung Yen Police Youth is a typical shock force of the armed forces. Youth projects and tasks along with thousands of effective initiatives and models not only contribute to the completion of the political tasks of the sector, but also demonstrate the humanitarian spirit and profound social responsibility of police officers in the hearts of the people.

In the coming term, the Provincial Police Youth Union will continue to promote digital transformation in Youth Union work in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo.

Desire to contribute

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Youth Union of the Hung Yen Provincial Police clearly defined its goals and directions for action in line with the requirements of building a regular, elite, and modern police force to meet the tasks in the era of national digital transformation. Major Nguyen Duy Hung emphasized: The action slogan of the next term is "The youth of the Hung Yen Police are united, courageous, aspirational, pioneering, innovative, and make achievements for the security of the Fatherland". The Youth Union of the Provincial Police set a goal of 100% of its members studying and thoroughly understanding the resolutions of the Party and the Union; striving to carry out at least 5 provincial-level youth projects, including 2 projects applying science and technology; annually mobilizing 200 members to donate blood, building 1 house of gratitude, giving 300 gifts to the poor; each member planting at least 1 tree, contributing to environmental protection.

The Provincial Police Youth Union also determined to promote digital transformation in the work of the Youth Union, implementing the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, in accordance with the requirements and tasks of the Police force in the new period.

With the spirit of "Wherever there is a need, there are young police officers, wherever there is difficulty, there are young police officers", the youth of Hung Yen Police are continuing the glorious tradition, affirming their mettle, intelligence and aspiration to contribute in the new era, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive provincial police force, for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
