(GLO)- The Youth Union at all levels in Krong Pa district (Gia Lai province) has actively implemented many meaningful projects and tasks, bearing the imprint of youth in various fields of socio -economic life. The results achieved demonstrate the pioneering and voluntary role and spread the beautiful image of youth in the new era.
For nearly 2 months, the joy of settling down in a new house is still intact for Mrs. Kpa H'Nhoanh (Group 7, Phu Tuc town). Mrs. H'Nhoanh's husband suffers from mental illness. In 2013, her husband burned down the house and left, since then, the family's difficult situation has become even more difficult. She does whatever job anyone hires her to do, and she alone has to shoulder the burden of raising 4 young children.

Understanding the difficult circumstances of Mrs. H'Nhoanh's family, the Phu Tuc Town Youth Union has implemented a plan to build a new house for the family. With financial support from philanthropists and the town's "For the Poor" Fund, the house was completed and handed over to the family at the end of March. The new house has an area of 65 square meters with a total construction cost of 65 million VND, of which the town's "For the Poor" Fund supported 12 million VND, the Union's budget was more than 4 million VND, and the rest was supported by benefactors.
According to Mr. Le Dinh Dinh - Secretary of Phu Tuc Town Youth Union, the house is a youth project of the Town Youth Union in 2023. Hopefully, the new house will help Ms. H'Nhoanh's family reduce difficulties in life, feel secure in doing business to escape poverty sustainably. Ms. H'Nhoanh confided: "The new house is the long-standing dream of the whole family. Thank you to the local government, Youth Union, and benefactors for your attention and help. From now on, the family will try to do business to rise out of poverty."
With youthful energy and creativity, youth projects of Krong Pa district youth are appearing more and more. The green youth shirt is present in all fields, contributing to the local government's successful completion of political tasks. In 2022, Krong Pa District Youth Union coordinated with volunteer organizations to implement 2 district-level youth projects, the "Clean water for highland areas" project in Chu Ngoc and Chu Drang communes with a total value of more than 400 million VND. In 2023, with the orientation of improving the quality of education in the area, the District Youth Union coordinated with Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd. to renovate the library and hand over textbooks and school supplies to Kim Dong Primary School (Ia Hdreh commune) and Dat Bang Primary School with a total value of over 187 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Tam - Secretary of the District Youth Union - said: Being a remote area, the physical facilities at schools are still lacking, especially when the generaleducation program was newly implemented, the shortage of textbooks often occurred. Therefore, the District Youth Union has coordinated with the sponsoring unit to implement a district-level youth project to help students have enough textbooks and school supplies.
According to the District Youth Union Secretary, implementing the resolutions of the Youth Union congresses at all levels, the District Youth Union Standing Committee has directed grassroots Youth Union organizations to implement youth projects and tasks. Typically, the Phu Tuc Town and Chu Gu Commune Youth Union mobilized the construction of 2 charity houses for poor households with a total cost of 95 million VND, and the Phu Can Commune Youth Union built barns for disadvantaged households with a total cost of 30 million VND. "Based on the achieved results, the District Youth Union Standing Committee continues to direct grassroots Youth Union organizations, depending on the actual conditions of the locality, to implement more meaningful projects and tasks to create a favorable environment for union members and youth to practice and strive; at the same time, join hands with local authorities to complete the political, economic and social tasks set out," the District Youth Union Secretary affirmed.
