Youth of Le Chan ward 'Light up spring in the highlands' in Thai Nguyen

The Youth Union of Le Chan ward (Hai Phong) mobilized nearly 173 million VND, along with 11,000 notebooks and thousands of other school supplies to support students in mountainous areas.

The program mobilized total support resources amounting to nearly 173 million VND, along with 11,000 notebooks and thousands of other school supplies for students in disadvantaged mountainous areas.

Within the framework of the "Winter Volunteer Program 2025 - Spring Volunteer Program 2026", the Youth Union of Le Chan Ward, in coordination with the Youth Union of Construction Newspaper, organized a series of volunteer activities titled "Le Chan Youth - Lighting Up Spring in the Highlands" in Trung Hoi Commune, Thai Nguyen Province.

The total support amounted to nearly 173 million VND, along with 11,000 notebooks and thousands of other school supplies for students in disadvantaged mountainous areas.

The volunteer group distributed gifts to the children at Boc Nhieu Kindergarten in Trung Hoi commune, Thai Nguyen province.

At two disadvantaged schools, Boc Nhieu Kindergarten and Boc Nhieu Primary School, the delegation implemented many practical projects and activities such as donating a youth project called "Flag and Flower Road" worth 20 million VND, contributing to the construction of new rural areas; and donating a "Library for Children" project worth 20 million VND along with more than 1,500 books to serve the learning and reading needs of students.

The delegation provided nearly 3,000 nutritious meals for students at two schools, totaling nearly 90 million VND; donated 100 warm blankets worth 25 million VND to underprivileged students; and distributed 11,000 new notebooks and 2,200 pens to support the students in their studies.

The volunteer group also donated 30 welfare gift packages and 30 bags of medical supplies, including essential items for basic healthcare, to disadvantaged people in Trung Hoi commune, with a total value of 18 million VND.

Representatives from the Le Chan Ward Youth Union and the Youth Union of the Construction Newspaper presented social welfare gifts to students and schools as part of the "Le Chan Youth - Lighting Up Spring in the Highlands" series of activities in Trung Hoi commune, Thai Nguyen province.

This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
