The list includes familiar faces such as Thanh Thuy, Bich Tuyen, Kieu Trinh, Khanh Dang, Lam Oanh, Bich Thuy... Notably, there are young players such as Nguyen Thi Uyen, Luu Thi Ly Ly or Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh... These are all factors that have left their mark at the AVC Challenge Cup and VTV Cup in recent times.
Although 15 players are registered, each team can only use a maximum of 14 players on the field in each match. Bringing a wide force helps the coaching staff have more options and adjust tactics depending on the opponent.
The squad for SEA V.League 2025 does not have many changes compared to the team that won the AVC Challenge Cup 2025 in Hanoi recently. However, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is still unfortunately without striker Tra My due to a knee muscle injury. The 2000-born player has been examined by doctors and determined that there is no ligament damage, but still needs time to recover.
Compared to SEA V.League 2024, the Vietnamese team has some changes in personnel. Names such as Nguyet Anh, Yen, Tra Giang or Tu Linh are not present, while coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet adds many young players, aiming at the process of force transfer.
Currently, the team is training in Tam Dao ( Phu Tho ). After the group of athletes participating in the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 tournament returns on July 21, the team will fully assemble to enter the professional development phase.
SEA V.League 2025 will feature four strong teams from the region: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. After the first round in Thailand from August 1 to 3, the teams will compete in the second round in Ninh Binh from August 9 to 11. This is also an important tournament in the preparation for the 33rd SEA Games taking place later this year.
