In the final match of the tournament, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team met U21 Shanghai (China). Coach Nguyen Ngoc Hoa used the following lineup: Nguyen Thi Uyen, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Luu Thi Ly Ly, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Bui Thi Anh Thao.

In set 1, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost 17/25. In set 2, the Vietnamese girls played better but still lost 23/25 regrettably. In set 3, U21 Shanghai (China) continued to win 25/23, winning 3-0 overall.

With this result, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team finished the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 tournament in 4th place overall. This is a tournament to help reserve and young players learn and compete, so Nguyen Thi Phuong and her teammates do not focus too much on achievements.

Right after the tournament, coach Nguyen Ngoc Hoa and his team returned home, joining up with key players Bich Tuyen, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Khanh Dang... to prepare for the SEA V-League.

At the regional tournament, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has just finalized the list of 15 players, including familiar faces such as Thanh Thuy, Bich Tuyen, Kieu Trinh, Khanh Dang, Lam Oanh, Bich Thuy... Notably, there are young players such as Nguyen Thi Uyen, Luu Thi Ly Ly or Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh... These are all factors that have left their mark at the AVC Challenge Cup and VTV Cup in recent times.

SEA V-League 2025 will feature four strong teams from the region: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. After the first round in Thailand from August 1 to 3, the teams will compete in the second round in Ninh Binh from August 9 to 11.
