
In 2024, the Tax Department of Hung Yen province (including 2 areas of Hung Yen province and Thai Binh province before the merger) The Ministry of Finance assigned a domestic revenue estimate of VND 37,701 billion. By December 31, 2024, the total domestic revenue in the area was VND 47,254 billion, exceeding the estimate by 25.3% and increasing by 23.8% over the same period. Revenue from taxes and fees (excluding land use fees) was VND 29,815 billion, exceeding the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance by 82% and increasing by 6.5% over the same period. Revenue from enterprises and business organizations reached VND 25,760 billion, accounting for 86.4%, exceeding the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance by 86.3% and increasing by 2.6% over the same period. 15/18 revenue items exceeded the assigned estimate. This result is the effort of the business community, entrepreneurs, and taxpayers in overcoming difficulties, striving to stabilize and develop production and business, increase income for workers, and fulfill tax obligations to the State.
Representatives of businesses and taxpayers discussed the following contents: Digitalizing tax management to create maximum convenience for taxpayers; supporting, guiding, and resolving tax policy problems of tax officials and civil servants for taxpayers; awareness and responsibility in fulfilling tax obligations to the state of taxpayers; and reforming administrative procedures.
At the conference, the Tax Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives; Hung Yen Provincial Tax Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 148 collectives and individuals with good achievements in complying with tax policies and laws in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, commended the collectives and individuals who complied well with tax laws and policies and actively contributed to the state budget. At the same time, he emphasized the outstanding results in the province's economic development achieved in 2025 in attracting investment, disbursing public investment capital, developing industrial parks and industrial clusters, developing regional transport systems; the goals and tasks of the province to focus on leading, directing and organizing implementation in 2026 and the potential, development advantages of the province after the merger.

To contribute to promoting the province's socio-economic development and increasing the province's budget, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Tax Department proactively advises the province on mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for businesses, while at the same time effectively reforming tax administrative procedures. Businesses, entrepreneurs, and small and medium enterprises continue to confidently invest in expanding production and business, effectively implementing environmental protection, policies and laws of the State, including tax policies. Businesses need to promote the spirit of solidarity, build close relationships between the government and the people in performing production, business, and business development tasks and be responsible to the community.
