The Shenzhen Youth Football Training Center covers a total area of nearly 197,000 m², with modern facilities including a professional stadium, training and rehabilitation areas, athlete accommodation, and a football park with 7 11-a-side pitches and 3 5-a-side pitches. It also hosted the U18 and U20 men's football events at the 15th Chinese National Games .
Although the weather in Shenzhen was quite cold in the early morning and late evening, the training conditions were generally favorable thanks to the sunshine.
