On the afternoon of December 6, the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) held a ceremony to send off the National Tennis Team to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. The ceremony marked the determination and serious preparation of the players and coaching staff in the journey towards the goal of achieving high results for the country's sports in the regional arena.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of VTF; Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of VTF and representatives of units, sponsors and the entire Vietnamese men's and women's teams.

VTF President Nguyen Quoc Ky emphasized that SEA Games 33 is an opportunity for Vietnamese tennis to affirm a new step forward: "I believe that with serious preparation, solidarity and high determination, the team will compete confidently, bringing glory to the Fatherland."
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also presented support from the accompanying units to further motivate the athletes and coaching staff. This is considered an important mental boost before the team enters the competition journey.
VTF General Secretary Nguyen Hong Son expressed: "SEA Games 33 promises many challenges when the opponents are stronger, the competition pace is more intense and the pressure is greater. We also enter SEA Games 33 with careful preparation and the highest determination. We do not put pressure on ourselves to win medals, but we absolutely believe that each athlete will enter the field with the spirit of a brave warrior, competing with all their might for the Vietnamese flag."
Before leaving, the players focused on practicing at the National Sports Training Center in Ho Chi Minh City and continuously competed in many international tournaments such as M15 and W15 Phan Thiet to improve their performance.
With careful preparation, the Vietnamese tennis team will leave for Bangkok (Thailand) on the morning of December 8, starting to compete at the 33rd SEA Games from December 10.
