Nearly 2,000 people in Tuyen Quang voluntarily donated blood at the Red Journey program.

On July 19, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Tuyen Quang province coordinated with the Central Red Journey Organizing Committee to organize the opening ceremony of the "Red Journey" Program in 2025, the "Red Drops of Tuyen" Blood Donation Festival and honor outstanding blood donors of Tuyen Quang province in 2025.

The Red Journey program in Tuyen Quang is expected to collect more than 500 units of blood.

The program attracted nearly 2,000 cadres, civil servants, soldiers of the armed forces, union members, youth, workers and people, along with volunteer clubs promoting and mobilizing humanitarian blood donation in the province.

This is the 13th year the "Red Journey" program has been organized. This year the program will be held in 32/34 provinces and cities nationwide, the year with the largest number of participating localities and is expected to receive 100,000 units of blood.

In Tuyen Quang, the program is expected to collect more than 500 units of blood.

The program attracted a large number of cadres, soldiers and young people in Tuyen Quang to register for voluntary blood donation.

In recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement in Tuyen Quang has been implemented by all levels and sectors with many forms of mobilization and rich propaganda, attracting the participation and response of a large number of people, especially union members and young people.

The number of voluntary blood donors and repeat blood donors is increasing, contributing to preserving the lives of patients. Up to now, the amount of blood for emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities in the province has met more than 60%.

Representatives of the National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province awarded certificates of merit to individuals.

At the program, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 individuals; the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 18 individuals with outstanding achievements in humanitarian blood donation in the province.
