Accordingly, the departments, agencies, and localities that are members of the Steering Committee are responsible for strictly implementing the Law on Food Safety; Decree 155/2018/ND-CP; Directive No. 17/CT-TTg of 2020 and Directive No. 38/CT-TTg of 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening state management responsibility and preventing food poisoning.
The province requires agencies and units to proactively develop plans to ensure food safety; organize comprehensive inspections, monitoring, and post-inspection of collective kitchens, ensuring that no violating establishments are overlooked. At the same time, it emphasizes strengthening communication and raising awareness about food safety among students, workers, and the general public.
The Department of Health, in coordination with relevant agencies, will conduct inter-agency inspections and checks; monitor the origin of food, processing, preservation, and transportation procedures; fully implement the three-step food inspection process and retain food samples at collective kitchens. In addition, the health sector must prepare plans, personnel, and supplies to promptly handle food poisoning incidents. The Department of Education and Training and the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of the province will promote the dissemination of food safety knowledge; strengthen food poisoning prevention; and strictly implement school health programs.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television Station are coordinating the dissemination of knowledge on food safety; promptly publicizing cases of violations to warn the community, and at the same time commending model kitchens that comply well with legal regulations.
