Accordingly, departments, branches and localities that are members of the Steering Committee are responsible for strictly implementing the Law on Food Safety; Decree 155/2018/ND-CP; Directive No. 17/CT-TTg in 2020 and Directive No. 38/CT-TTg in 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the responsibility of state management and food poisoning prevention.
The province requires agencies and units to proactively develop plans to ensure food safety; organize comprehensive inspection, supervision, and post-inspection of collective kitchens, ensuring that no violating establishments are left behind. At the same time, strengthen propaganda and raise awareness of food safety for students, workers, and the public.
The Department of Health shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to carry out inter-sectoral inspections and checks; monitor food origins, processing, preservation and transportation processes; fully implement three-step food inspection and store food samples in collective kitchens. In addition, the Health sector must prepare plans, personnel and supplies to promptly handle food poisoning cases. The Department of Education and Training, the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of the province shall promote the dissemination of food safety knowledge; strengthen food poisoning prevention; and strictly implement school health work.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television coordinate to propagate and disseminate food safety knowledge; promptly publicize violations to warn the community, and at the same time commend kitchen models that comply with legal regulations.
