What are the standard requirements for admission to the Political Officer School?

At Le Van Dau High School, Vinh Loi District, propaganda officers of the Political Officer School introduced the conditions and enrollment targets for the Political Officer School in 2023.

In 2023, the Political Officer School will enroll 453 students for the Party building and State administration sector, based on the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam.

According to regulations of the Ministry of National Defense, to be eligible to apply to military schools, candidates must meet the following four requirements: political background, culture, health and age (from 17 to 21 years old for non-military candidates, 18 to 23 years old for active or discharged soldiers).

Candidates who pass the preliminary selection must meet the standards prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense ; take the 2023 high school graduation exam to get the results of university and college admission; the exams and subjects must be suitable for the total of subjects for admission to the schools in the Army that the candidates register for. The time and method of adjusting the application for admission are implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense issued in 2023. The preliminary selection period is from March 20 to May 20, 2023.

Previously, on March 18, the delegation provided TSQS counseling and career guidance for nearly 500 students at two schools: Bac Lieu High School and Bac Lieu Specialized High School.

Major General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Chung, Vice Principal of the Political Officer School, said: The 2023 TSQS career counseling and guidance aims to promote the image and good traditions of schools in the Army, and provide career guidance for students to better understand the recruitment and training work. Thereby, improving the quality of recruitment, attracting candidates to participate in university and college training at academies and schools in the Army; helping students to have a deeper understanding of the role and responsibility of the young generation in the cause of defending the Fatherland, building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern Vietnam People's Army .
