Propagating solutions to evaluate the creditworthiness of loan customers

(QNO) - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu has just signed an official dispatch on implementing propaganda work on solutions to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers in the province.

Currently, there are 6 financial institutions and commercial banks including BIDV , Vietcombank, Vietinbank, PVcombank, Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB), MB Shinsei Finance Company Limited (Mcredit) that have products for officials, civil servants, public employees and people to access loans without having to mortgage assets, contributing to social security and limiting black credit crimes.

Recently, at the national online conference to evaluate 2 years of implementing Project 06, the Prime Minister requested agencies, provinces and cities nationwide to promote the application of population data in assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers so that people can access legitimate capital sources quickly and effectively.

On that basis, the Provincial People's Committee requests agencies, units, and localities to disseminate this content to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at their agencies and units to understand the utility of applying population data in assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers, and to know and have a need to borrow capital from the above banks and credit institutions.

The State Bank of Vietnam, Quang Nam branch, in accordance with its functions and tasks, coordinates with commercial banks and credit institutions to deploy products and apply Project 06 utilities widely and effectively.

Quang Nam Newspaper, Quang Nam Radio and Television Station, Department of Information and Communications and other propaganda agencies widely inform people on mass media and social networking platforms.

Representative offices and branches of BIDV, Vietcombank, Vietinbank, PVcombank, VIB, MCredit in the province coordinate to propagate and support people in need of using loan products to ensure the right subjects, publicity and transparency, not allowing the situation of taking advantage of this policy to cause loss of people's trust.
