Propagating "Not alone - Together online safety" to thousands of students

On the morning of November 29, at FPT Polytechnic College, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with relevant units to organize the propaganda program "Not alone - Together online safety" for over 1,000 students.

Guest delegates made recommendations and answered questions related to the "Online kidnapping" trick in cyberspace.

Faced with the increasingly complex situation of fraud and property appropriation cases on cyberspace with many sophisticated tricks, especially the "online kidnapping" trick, the campaign "Not alone - Together online safety" was deployed to widely propagate among cadres, party members and all classes of people, especially teenagers, students.

During the program, students were informed by officers of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police about the methods and tricks of fraud of cyber criminals such as "online kidnapping", impersonating authorities, taking over social network accounts, impersonating relatives to borrow money, or luring them to invest online; and were instructed on skills to identify, handle situations, and protect personal information when participating in the online environment.

Students also exchanged and discussed common real-life situations when using social networks, thereby forming habits of safe and responsible internet use.
