Here, the Tan Bien area Fire Fighting and Rescue Team officers disseminated some new and important points of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Law related to the rights, obligations and responsibilities of agencies, organizations, families and individuals in fire prevention and fighting and rescue activities; introduced common causes of fires and explosions in the market area, such as: unsafe use of electricity, overloading of devices, burning incense, cooking in kiosks, leaving goods blocking escape routes and being subjective in turning off electrical equipment when stopping sales, etc.
Traders and residents were also instructed by the Tan Bien Fire Fighting and Rescue Team on how to use portable fire extinguishers, practice extinguishing simulated fires and handle gas cylinder fires.
Fire and Rescue Police officers distribute leaflets to propagate fire prevention and fighting laws to people.
The team also distributed propaganda leaflets, providing basic knowledge on fire prevention and rescue to participants of the propaganda session, market goers and businesses at the kiosk area; encouraged traders to equip fire extinguishers at their places of business to promptly handle incidents and strictly comply with regulations on electrical safety, arrange goods neatly, and not encroach on fire exits.
