Propaganda about beliefs and religions for Mong ethnic people

On December 1, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Thai Nguyen organized a conference to propagate the identification of beliefs and religions for Mong ethnic people in Lien Phuong hamlet, Van Lang commune.

Van Lang commune currently has 5 Protestant organizations and groups with nearly 900 followers, mainly Mong ethnic people. In recent years, the religious and belief situation in the locality has been basically stable. The followers basically comply with the regulations on beliefs and religions.

However, the locality still has the potential for strange and heretical religions to infiltrate, causing instability in security and order. Therefore, the work of propaganda, mobilization, dissemination and education of laws on religion and belief is regularly focused on by the locality.

At the Conference, the reporter disseminated the provisions of the law on belief and religion; the rights and obligations of citizens in religious activities in accordance with the State's regulations. The propaganda content focused on guiding people to identify, be vigilant and avoid all kinds of heretical religions and "strange religions" that show signs of exploiting beliefs to attract, incite and cause disunity in the community.

The reporters also provided information on the cyber security situation, risks and dangers from cybercrime and online fraud, helping people raise their awareness.

The propaganda session contributed to consolidating people's trust, enhancing great solidarity and ensuring security and order in the Mong ethnic minority region.
